Gateway Setup

The Twinise hub gateway is a lightweight service that runs on commodity edge hardware. It subscribes to device MQTT topics, buffers telemetry in memory, and syncs to Twinise Cloud in batches.

Setup

• Install the hub gateway service on your edge host.
• Confirm the host has network reach to local devices and outbound connectivity to Twinise Cloud.
• Power on the sensor nodes it will aggregate.

Configuration

1. Set the cloud endpoint and gateway credentials.
2. Confirm the gateway subscribes to your device telemetry topics.
3. Batched sync runs on a short cadence and retries until delivery succeeds.

Acceptance

• Gateway is receiving device telemetry.
• Batches are syncing to Twinise Cloud.
• Telemetry forwarding is continuous.
